- Burn the iso file to pendrive using the windows program
  https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/

Set the OS type to ubuntu, Persistance file to 1600 MBytes

Alternatively you can use the program Rufus 2.17 Portable 
http://rufus.akeo.ie/

but it does not have a persistance file option. 
(the zminer-banet-os will work fine though)


- Boot your machine from the pendrive

Login with username/password
banet/zminer

EWBF zcash miner is located at
/home/banet/zec-ewbf

Start mining Zcash!


Ethereum Claymore and ethminer are located at /home/banet

FAQ ADVANCED

- How to test the contents of the OS distribution ?

The live pendrive boot can be used on a machine without hard disk. So you can 
test without risking your computer data.

In addition the system can be inspected without booting by mounting the .iso 
file as follows
# mount -o loop zminer-banet-1.9.iso /mnt/disk

You will find stock ubuntu desktop 16.04, plus nvidia driver 384, ewbf miner, 
eth claymore dual miner.



- Enable overclocking control of Nvidia GPUs

#sudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=31 --allow-empty-initial-configuration
#sudo service lightdm restart
#or
#sudo shutdown -r now
#
# edit your parameters for each GPU and run the script as root
# sudo sh start-overclocking.sh
#


- Pendrive boot install to hard drive

At boot time choose the option hard disk install

Then set the new mount points (the minimum is the '/', so root filesystem).
So select a partition, '/' mount point, filesystem and click the green 
arrow button.


- Dev Fees Redirection

EWBF miner and Claymore Dual Miner have a 2% developer fee
By default they are redirected to our zminer-banet distribution dev fee 
address

but you can redirect them to your own address by editing
nano /usr/sbin/nfwsed1


- Headless booting

You can simulate a monitor with an hdmi to vga adaptor. 
It only needs to be connected to the 1st GPU at boot time.
